- Take 2-3 Cabbage Leaves
- Prepare 5 cm Carrot *cut into thin strips
- Take 100-150 g Thinly Sliced Pork
- Make ready 2 Spring Onion
- Prepare Shichimi (Japanese Chilli Spice Mix)
- Get *Suggested additional ingredients: Shiitake, Shimeji, Beansprouts, Bok Choy, Garlic Chives, etc
Ramen noodles are originally Chinese style noodles, but it's been changed and improved over the years, and evolved to be our own food. Spicy Tonkotsu Miso Ramen is amazing and worth all of it! We are making a local specialty Miso Nikomi Udon, which is a must-taste dish when visiting Nagoya, in the Aichi Prefecture. Heat the dashi stock in an earthen pot also known as donabe, and place the chicken into it.
Instructions to make ‘Nikomi’ Simmered Miso Ramen:
- Cut all Vegetables and Pork into the size that is easy to eat.
- Place Water, Carrot and Cabbage in a large saucepan or pot, and bring to the boil.
- Once boiling, add Instant Ramen Noodles. When Noodles are half cooked, add Pork and Spring Onion, then add Soup and Seasoning. Cook until Pork is cooked and Noodles are soft.
- Sprinkle with Shichimi (Japanese Chilli Spice Mix) and enjoy immediately.
