- Once beginning to boil, place the lid on and lower the heat down to low. Let this simmer for 10 minutes, then turn the heat off but keep the lid on an additional 5 minutes. Then fluff it with a fork and serve.
Close the pot and lock the lid. Set the machine to cook at high pressure. This is a great set it and forget it recipe. In a large skillet with a lid heat the olive oil over medium heat. Stir in the rice, chicken broth, beans, Italian seasoning, cracked red pepper, and a dash of salt and pepper.
