Fasooliya is one of the most favored of current trending meals in the world. It is appreciated by millions every day. It is simple, it’s fast, it tastes yummy. Fasooliya is something which I have loved my entire life. They’re nice and they look wonderful.
Fasooliya This can be served to non vegetarian as well as Vegetarians. This is a Jordanian recipe - one of my favorites. It's meant to be eaten over rice, which generally means white rice.
To get started with this particular recipe, we have to prepare a few ingredients. You can cook fasooliya using 9 ingredients and 8 steps. Here is how you cook it.
The ingredients needed to make Fasooliya:
- Get 200 grams Dried green beens
- Prepare 2 medium onion
- Take 250 grams Mutton
- Take 3 clove Cardamom
- Get 5 each Black pepper
- Make ready 2 tbsp Tomatoe paste
- Get 2 tbsp Olive oil
- Get Salt
- Make ready 2 each Sun dried lemons
Spread the softened butter over entire surface of chicken, and sprinkle liberally with salt and pepper. Fasolia is an absolute classic of Levantine cuisine. Cooked white beans in an aromatic tomato sauce. The bean stew is a perfect meal for the cold season.
Steps to make Fasooliya:
- Soak the dried green beens in water over night
- Wash the meat thoroughly and put it in the pressure cooker.
- Slice 1 onions in thin cut slices and add to the cooker along with the cardamom and black pepper and the sun dried lemons.
- Add water enough to be over the mutton. Add salt as per taste. Close the cooker and let it cook till 5 whistles on high flame and 5 minutes on low flame.
- Now in another pressure cooker take the beens which have been soaked over night. Add water and salt as per taste. Let this cook for 3 whistles on high flames and then for 5 minutes on low flame.
- Chop the remaining onion in small cubes and fry in a pan till it becomes transparent. Add tomatoes paste and stir well for 10 minutes add little water if necessary.
- Add the paste to the beens and stir gently. Cook it on low flame for 5 minutes.
- The non vegetarian people can add the boiled mutton to the beens. And the vegetarian people can eat without the mutton.
