Not to mention, taste PHENOMENAL when baked. The kids loved having the freedom to eat what THEY wanted. We had such a nice time sitting on the floor, eating dinner and talking about our day. It was a light and easy dinner that required no oven, grill or stove - perfect for a hot day.

Instructions to make Icebox, Pantry Smorgasbord:
  1. Fry the rice in the butter and vegetable oil
  2. Add the salt and water. Boil till the rice is done. Add the beans and garlic. Add the jalapeño Meatballs and jalapeño gravy, from my recipe for jalapeño Meatballs, Mashed potatoes and jalapeño gravy.
  3. Let everything heat through and cover remove from heat. Serve after letting it rest for 12 minutes.
