- Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add cardamom, cinnamon stick, cloves, green chillies and onion.

- Now add 2 cups of coconut milk to it and cook for a minute.
- After a minute, add soaked basmati rice and salt as required.
- Close the lid and wait until pressure is released well.
- Now fix the whistle on to the lid and keep the flame too low.
- Cook for 10 minutes exactly on the low flame and then switch it off.
- Do not open the lid immediately. Let it rest for a while and then you are good to go. If you want it spicy you can add extra green chillies.
