  1. Take 2 cups flour
  2. Get 120 ml lukewarm water
  3. Take 1/2 teaspoon salt
  4. Take 3 tablespoons salted butter

  7. Take 1 teaspoon dry yeast

  1. In a bowl, add water, yeast,1 teaspoon sugar and mix. Set aside to proof for 5mins.
  2. In a big bowl, combine the flour, salt, milk and set aside.
  3. After 5mins, if the yeast doesn't form, discard and get another yeast. In the yeast mixture, add in the remaining sugar, beaten egg and mix properly(always beat ur eggs in a different bowl before adding it the mixture, I once added bad egg to my yeast and I had to start all over again).
  4. Slowly add the yeast mixture to the flour until it form a sticky dough, if the dough is hard, sprinkle some more water to it(I added about 2 tablespoons more). Sprinkle a little flour on a flat surface, add ur dough and knead for about 2 mins. Do not add more flour to the dough.
  5. Then add in ur butter (u can also melt the butter and add to the wet ingredients before combining, but adding the butter afterwards helps me knead better). Knead for 10- 15mins until it is soft and stretchy.
  6. Shape into a round ball, place into an oiled bowl and cover to rise in a warm environment for 30mins- 1hr or until it doubles. (The weather was cold today, so I on my microwave for about 5 mins, off it, 2 mins later, I place bowl of bread dough covered with a towel inside and cover or u can simply place ur covered bowl of bread dough inside a container with warm water. Both method helps a lot in rising of dough)
  7. After it doubles, deflate and shape into round balls or ur desired shape and place into ur greased and floured baking pan. Cover to rise for 30mins.
  8. In a pot, put a stand/stones/sand/ salt into it, cover and pre heat for 7 mins on medium heat. When the dough rise, egg wash(I didn't egg wash, u can egg wash if u want a brownish color or u can also remove from pan, turn it upside down and put in the pot for about 2mins. The top will be brown as well).
  9. Place ur baking pan into the pot and cover very well. Bake on a low to medium heat for 20mins.Do not open before then. I always know when it's done from the aroma. U can also insert a toothpick into it, if it comes out clean, then it's ready.
  10. When done, let it cool for a while Remove from pan and rub the top with butter to give a shinning look. Enjoy 👌😋.

Guaranteed not to last long once out of the oven! I used a little more flour than required by the recipe as I like a more dense bread. I knocked back the dough for the full ten minutes, a good work out, indeed! These bread rolls are like white bread dinner rolls, similar to the Basco Brand bread mix but without the dairy (milk powder) and without the corn-based dextrose. This is a very easy bread to make without any kneading.
