The ingredients needed to make Mango bread:
- Get 0.25 cup milk
- Prepare 1 cup wheat flour
- Take 1 cup maida or all purpose flour
- Take Optional almond flour + Ragi flour
- Take 1 mango puree
- Prepare 1 banana mashed
- Prepare 0.5 cup jaggery
- Take Saffron rinsed in milk
- Get Raisins and cashews
- Take Cinnamon powder
- Get Cardamom crushed
- Take 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Make ready 1 tsp baking powder
- Make ready 0.5 tsp baking soda
- Prepare Pinch salt
In a large bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. In a large bowl, beat together the butter, oil and sugar until light and fluffy. In a large bowl, combine the first five ingredients. In another bowl, beat eggs, oil and vanilla.
Steps to make Mango bread:
- Wet ingredients: milk + mango purée + banana mashed + saffron milk mix well
- Now sieve dry ingredients to it. Add flour (all specified flours)+ jaggery + raisins + cashews + crushed cinnamon and cardamom. Add baking soda + baking powder + pinch salt.
- Now mix the batter and pour it in a cake mould
- Preheat the oven to 350 deg F in the beginning and place the mould and bake for 1 hour 10 minutes. Serve it once cooled.
Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Beat in another bowl sugar, mango, eggs, oil and vanilla. Add the flour mixture to the eggs mixture. I tried three mango bread recipes last year but found the results all too dense.
